Runningforvodka is inspired by my previous, stressed out, career-consumed self that I drowned in food and alcoholic beverages. I have managed to transform that self-loathing image a year later with running, a little less stress, about the same amount of food and a bit more vodka!
I spend a lot of time working, eating and drinking booze. In my free time, I maintain this lifestyle with family and friends. I am in my late thirties. I am married. I have no human children. I enjoy my career. I often put others before myself, and enjoy being that person.
My blog is about discoveries in my career (I manage a statewide sales division for a large liquor distributor), why I work out (I run) and how I’ve managed to make a bit more time for myself (usually in the gym), therefore improving upon my personal relationships (I quit smoking so hopefully I’ll be around longer to play the starring role of Daughter, Sister, Wife and Aunt to 16 amazing nieces and nephews). It’s a win, win really!
